A day out in London

A good day in London yesterday. I attended a two hour watercolour course at the Royal Watercolour Society in the morning and had a guided tour of the Imperial war museum in the afternoon.

Thank you to Sophie Knight at the RWS for an inspirational couple of hours where I managed two paintings. A study or a Turner seascape and a London park from one of Sophie’s photos.

Thank you to Nevil at the Imperial War museum for looking after me and being such an interesting guide and to Ana for inviting me along.

I only managed one sketch in the museum of the press Land Rover and one earlier in the day in Trafalgar Square.
