New Forest Folk Festival

Five days in the sun with good friends listening to wonderful music and painting.

I led a sketching workshop on Saturday with 50 people in attendance following along as I tried to show them how to draw people, landscapes, camper vans and musicians, they seemed to enjoy it as I got some positive feedback afterwards and have even been sent a lovely drawing done at the festival following my talk.

Here are some of the paintings from the event. It was really too hot for watercolours but I kept re hydrating them, even so there are a few hard edges where the paint was drying so quickly.
