Paintings from around the world
I have sketched and painted in many places from a glorious beach in New Zealand to a penguin colony in Antartica. There are special places in the world where the animals are not so wary of visitors and can be sketched up close. Antartica and the Galápagos Islands are prime examples where visitors are carefully controlled and wildlife comes first. I have been lucky enough to visit both of them as well as the Kalahari Desert in South Africa where lions roam free and herds of wildebeest and springbok are wary but approachable.
